This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
24.3.09: Added a collection file.

(the objects on the tray were placed with SilentLucidity's OMSPs)

A summerly furniture set for your sims!
Included are a sofa, a loveseat, two vases, a tray, a carafe and drinking glass.

I also made matching recolors of my "Bibliothek" surfaces. The meshes for these are not included in this set! (Just the recolors) You need at least the sideboard from here for those to work! As it's a repository object, the color option will show for the other surfaces in this set, too.

Some objects from this set are repository objects:
The smaller vase gets its texture from the bigger vase,
the drinking glass gets its texture from the carafe and
the sofa gets its texture from the loveseat.

All of those objects have two recolorable subsets (except the drinking glass)

The decorative objects are placeable on OFB-shelves and on decorative slots (except for the tray).

Before anyone asks why there is a suspicous green glow-in-the-dark recolor of the carafe's content... I just think everything is better if it's green, suspicious and/or glow-in-the-dark. Especially drinks.

Polygon Counts:
sofa: 2386 faces
loveseat: 1926 faces
big flowers: 368 faces
small flowers: 274 faces
chair: 632 faces
carafe: 310 faces
drinking glass:135 faces
tray: 342 faces

issysims1331: Like I wrote in the overview/comment: "the objects on the tray were placed with SilentLucidity's OMSPs"
You'll find the cheat for diagonal placement a few comments above.

Aww.. nice ^^ It's the same yeah. Hehe.
I notice that the style is very typical for Scandinavian summer houses also. Really cute.

This set makes me miss playing the SIMS 2 (I play SIMS 3 now). It was and still is my all time favorite!

Change happens when the pain of holding on becomes greater then the fear of letting go.

Very nice! *Downloading* I thought it looked Scandinavian too. At first I thought "Sommerferien" was actually Danish. Here it means "The summer vacation" (THE because of the N at the end) :P

Amaris27: It's my all time favorite too! I actually like Sims 2 better than Sims 3, but I play both of them now.

Wow, totally beautiful set. Especially the sofa and chair with the flower pattern and I love the trays too. Scandinavian (especially Swedish) was also the first thought I had when I saw this set. I love it! Thanks.

This is probably my favorite thing I have downloaded ever. I used this set in a sunroom, and it's just beautiful. I hope someday to find real-life furniture just like it for the sunroom I plan to have one day. :D

My first comment for this got deleted by someone else and I still don't know who. For what it's worth I recently re-downloaded a bunch of stuff and these chairs and sofa stayed in my game after a cull of "not so good after all". They are truly lovely and I thank you for such a beautiful set!
