Hello, here is one of those big old mansions you find in french villages or in town suburbs ^^. I've kept the furnishing to a minimum but it's still pricey, I'm afraid.
There are two main buildings, and two entrances, the main one straight to the street, the other one through a nice back yard. There also a basement that can only be accessed from the outside, and a wooded park with room for gardening or any other outdoor activities.
Edit 19/08 : I was told the staircase didn't work well, so I amended the stairwell part of the house, so that now it works perfectly (I retested it extensively in game : all levels are reachable). If you downloaded this house previously and had problems with that, please redownload it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Modular stairs in Sims3 are a bit tricky ^^;
Warning: I used the CFE cheat extensively for the main staircase, so be careful if you decide to alter anything and are not familiar with playing with level heights.
30x20 lot
furnished: 86920
empty : 72481
I used some store items for this house. If you don't have them in your game, they will be replaced by equivalent items when you load the house.
Store items used outside : Statue of an Unknown Seamstress. Here.
You'll need it for the over all look, but it could be replaced by the base game Venus statue easily ^^.
Store items used inside:
Storybook set : Romantique Chaise, here.
Superlative Sofa, here.
Duke's Dining Tablee, here.
Romantique Dining Chair, here.
both wall lamps and Brass Candelabrum. here, here, and here.
Hewnsman set: bed, here.
side-table, here.
Chester's Drawers, here.
Bayside set : EmpireLine Larder, here.
Have fun with it ! ^^
Lot Size: 3x2
Lot Price: 86920

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

About Me
I've been a simmer for a long time now, and almost as long an object maker (some old simmers may know me as the webmistress of TokageSims 1 and 2 ^^). I sort of stopped during Sims2, but it seems Sims 3 has rekindled my passion both for the game itself and for making custom content. I'm mostly a builder, even though before sims 3 I rarely posted my houses online, and then in second an object maker, and any other custom content that strikes my fancy. I'm definitely NOT a skinner, though ^^.
