Hello Austin0331! No it's not moving, it's based on lighting and has its functionality.

Default Great work!
I love all your stuff!!

But the fan isn't showing up in my game. I put it the same place that I put all your other stuff and it all shows up. It's supposed to be in Ceiling Lights right??

Happy simming!

I have created a small script that can be used to make the this fan rotate (at three speeds: Low,Medium, & High). **Note that inorder to make the fan rotate, I had to rotate the entire object.

Just download the file I have attached and put in your Mods/Packages folder (just like for any other downloaded package).

To make the fan, that MelissaMel created, rotate you will need the latest version of S3PE.

1) Load MelissaMel's package into S3PE (Melissa_LightingCeilingModernFan.package)
2) Locate the OBJK Resource (click on it/select it)
3) The Edit button should be enabled (it is at the bottom of the application)
It is next to the label "External"
4) Click the "Edit" button and You should see the "OBJK Resource Editor" dialog
5) There should be a checkbox named "script" and it should be checked, if not check it, and to right is a textbox with a label String (under Data)
6) You will see the text: Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.Lighting.Mimics.LightingCeilingContemporaryPorch
Change this to: NeoH4x0r.Objects.CeilingFans.Melissa_LightingCeilingModernFan
7) Save the package

That should be all you need to do.

Now you will have the same Ceiling Fan, but with some extra Options...Check them out in-game.

***NOTE: you will need to following
If you would like to know what I used to create the dlls used to make the fan rotate... You can download my "Sims 3 - Assembly Generator" - the link is in my signature.

P.S. I have also attached the project files for the "Assembly Generator" as well, so that you can see how I did it.
