aw that's a shame you can't put them close together without that flickering thing. Couldn't you have made them the same width or was that too difficult?

You can put them so that the screen portions tile without a cheat and without a flicker. The only way to make the base the same way would be to have it as narrow as the screen portion which would look a little silly IMO.

There just was no way around it...either the base is the same width as the screen or the base has to overlap the adjacent base if screens are placed next to one another. I opted for what I like in my game and stick to patterns on the base that don't cause the flicker on it.

The flicker occurs mostly if you have different color bases alternating in your row of partitions but it is there with a few matching patterns also. I don't care for flickering either which is why I mentioned it...although I have to say the flickering here, when present, is pretty minimal as long as you color all the bases with the same pattern.
