This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is my first minivan for the Sims 3! I know it's not the best, and it's not a super sports car that everyone likes and wants, but it's a good family and affordable van for real sim families.

This Caravan cost $2,000 in game and can be found in the vehicles section. Enjoy!

This van includes 4 recolorable parts: The main body, the wood trim, the outer wood trim and then the rims.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

My parents had one of these, buying it brand new when I was like 3. They had it until just last year when my little sister crashed it into the back of the garage wall learning how to park.

I learned how to drive in my parents' Caravan, went to my first concert without adults in that Caravan, drove to school for two years in it...I actually can't believe it, but I miss my parents' van o.o

Thanks for sharing this, FP! <3

Wow, I've downloaded this a long time ago but forgot to comment. This vehicle is great, my family had 2 of them when a was a kid, I really miss it.... If you don't mind me asking, but can you perhaps make a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban?

Both my son and I just fell in love this item, as we just buried our own 1994 Dodge Caravan last year. At least our Sim families can still have one. Lol. Thank you Fresh-Prince!

The flashy cars are gorgeous of course, but only a small percentage of most hoods are rich, so I need way more 'has-been-in-the-family-for-a-decade' cars

I would have preferred a Chevy Astro. Much more handsome minivan, that Astro, but this is okay.
