zolabee - You can only have one default replacement at a time. So, yes you will have to swap out the NPCs you need before you load the game. Any files that say "apparel" can be dumped into your downloads folder from both sets together. These are just the clothing textures and they are not default/wont conflict with one another.

The files that need to be switched begin with Commoner or Medieval. These are the NPC replacement files. You can mix and match the two sets, but you can only have one maid, nanny, bartendter, etc. at a time.

I've decided to start playing Sims 2 again for a bit just so I could play a proper medieval hood. I have wanted medieval NPC replacements for years! I tried doing it myself with the npc replacer program but somehow managed to really mess it up. Thank you SO much for this series

I'm having a problem with the Maid default - she shows up in a dress-shaped skin suit. I'm guessing that its missing the recolor? I've downloaded it and tried with a fresh set, in case of corruption, but that didn't fix it. Also tried the game without CC ... same problem.
