Intriguing! Now I wonder if it would be possible to make a door with a "pet door flap" joint in its skeleton. Makes me more motivated to learn object animations.

Can I confirm what you mean? You have several pets in one household, but only want one of those pets to be able to use a certain door?

Unfortunately I don't have M&G to be able to check. If there is anyone out there who could extract the function mentioned on the main thread (DoorAndGate - Check Lock Status) and send me it I will be able to check for sure.

In general though, I think your best bet would be to go for the non AL one, as the problem you will get if you take the wrong one is a loss of function in your doors and if you don't have AL then you won't miss that function anyway.

It came out afterwards. Unfortunately SimPE really, REALLY hates loading for me, so I can't extract the function...

Have you considered to make it so it also still allows pets when set to "allow me only"?

i want a Lock for toddlers button! . they always play in the toliet that really annoys me

I know this is no longer supported but would be nice if file had smaller name. As is named: APARTMENT-LIFE-REQUIRED-door-lock-menus-Mog-20100613 is very long. Could conflict if put in many subfolder with long names?

Would be nice if mod also use "Allow Me Only" and "Allow Household Only."

Finally, would be nice if someone make mod that pet bird cannot fly out doors not global.

PS: Still using this mod and I use it a lot because playing style for me is to build more than one house on a lot with people living in each with their own pets accordingly. I found way around "Allow Me Only" is to place two doors and one is locked "Allow Me Only" and other door is "Lock For All Sims." I can make room for two doors so all is well.

A lock on doors for birds would be great! I had a nanny let a bird out and I was afraid it wouldn't come back inside.
