This is my first custom career creation. No need to fret, though – I’ve tested it quite extensively. The only problems I suspect are grammatical issues, but please inform me of any problems if encountered.
It is the career of a Chartered Accountant (CA) and is based on the Maxis business career.
The details are as follows:
Level 1 – Bookkeeper (900)
Mon Tue Thu Fri (9am-5pm)
You are in charge of recording business transactions in the books of the business you work for. It is a highly stressful job, but if you work hard enough you may earn the title of a qualified Chartered Accountant. Focus on your logic skills.
Level 2 – Entry-level CA (1800)
Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri (10am-4pm)
You are now a registered Chartered Accountant. As you begin to dream of a better life – more money, less problems – you realise that pressure is mounting. You need to impress your colleagues in the workplace and other influential people in the wider accounting field.
Level 3 – Junior CA (1900)
Mon Tue Wed Thur Fri (10am-4pm)
You managed to gain favour in the eyes of the more senior employees and they have noticed your spark of enthusiasm. For this, you have gained respect in the workplace, and have also received a slight salary increase. You are now able to job-hop without risk – a perk many Chartered Accountants embrace.
Level 4 – Intermediate CA (2200)
Mon Wed Thu Fri (9am-3pm)
As you continue to show innovation and leadership in the various businesses you experiment with, your experience and influence increases. So does your salary. You should now focus on improving your charisma if you want to reach the height of your CA career. Here, networking is key.
Level 5 – Senior CA (2800)
Mon Tue Wed Thu (9am-3pm)
It feels great! Your hard work, experience and dedication have earned you the recognition of being one of the best in the field. While satisfied with your salary, power, and position in the business, you hunger for something more – creativity. You want to step away from the books, and start to influence the business world dramatically. To do this, you need to become more creative in your thinking.
Level 6 – Regional Financial Manager (3200)
Tue Wed Thu Fri (12pm-5pm)
You are selected to be the Regional Financial Manager at one of the most influential businesses in the industry, and you are ecstatic. You enjoy meeting new people and throwing your weight here and there to influence critical business decisions. You realise that you desire to continue to climb the corporate ladder. If you perpetually improve your approach to the business world, you may become the Financial Manager for the entire country.
Level 7 – National Financial Manager (4000)
Tue Wed Thu Fri (12pm-5pm)
A great leap in your career! That goes not only for your salary, but also the responsibility you now have for the business, the entire business world, and ultimately and indirectly the whole country. You feel determined to continually influence decision-making in the business, and you are now eyeing the office of Chief Financial Officer. Focus on all-round skills.
Level 8 – Chief Financial Officer (5000)
Tue Wed Thu (11am-3pm)
You are now sitting on the board of directors. Your financial expertise and passion have allowed you to get this far, and you feel satisfied to have reached the top level of any business. You are now called to plan strategically. Watch out though – using your acquired knowledge, skills and experience, other career opportunities may arise.
Level 9 – Member of Finance Ministry (8000)
Mon Tue Wed Thu (9am-3pm)
Impressing the likes of both private and governmental figures, you are approached by the National Financial Ministry to hop on board. It isn’t that simple though – politics never is – so you are offered a contract you cannot reject. Could this move be the ultimate high of your career?
Level 10 – Finance Minister (10000)
Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri (10am-12pm)
Salutations are saluted and trumpets are trumpeted as you are announced to be the new Minister of Finance. You are fed with enough money to refrain from any corruption. You are shown enough respect to refrain from ever changing jobs again. You experience enough fame to refrain from ever picking your nose in the phone booth again. You are an icon!
I removed the uniforms because they are ugly (to be kind). Now the sims will go to work in their everyday clothing (because they can).
