Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Pretty much self-explanatory.
Sims no longer have that constant little smirk while you're editing the face/hair/makeup in CAS. They also won't cut loose with that huge stupid grin.

Five years too late, I know.

They will still exhibit some stupid expressions after selecting a hair, for example, but then they will revert to a neutral expression.

All full body idles (like that cute little "I love this outfit!" shimmy) are still intact.

EDIT: I initially forgot that CAS/YCAS use different groups. If you have UNI and want the functionality in YCAS, download both files.

UPDATE 07/04/10 : I can't seem to kill all the facial idles for toddlers. They will still breathe, blink and have the corners of their mouths turned up. The "Joker" grinning does seem to be gone, however.

What version is this for? I like my current game version (though I have no idea how to determine which version it IS, as I'm very new to TS2 (I have all SPs and EPs as far as I know), but even with these as the only mods I have installed, my sims sill give the stupid duck-mouth smile in CAS. >.< Are there any versions of this for older patches? When I load the game, it warns me that this mod could cause conflicts, and working with hex is something I'm unfamiliar with. I can down/update a mod for TS3 okay, but I'm utterly clueless about how TS2 values work...

It should work for all versions, but I don't really know, since I installed every patch.
The modified BHAVs come from a fully patched Base Game (and Uni for YCAS).

I did not count on my comment to receive a reply and forgot all about it. I checked my hacks folder and I did have Cyjon's mod. I'll delete it and check if that solved it. Thank you.

Edit: I removed Cyjon's mod but sims still have a permanent smile plastered on their face when I create a non-student family.

With toddlers, I don't mind the blinking but is there a way to stop toddlers moving their head down? I go to change the hair and most times I am looking at the top of their head so i have to keep going in and out until they are looking at least half way reasonably at me.

joandsarah, I haven't noticed, because I don't edit toddlers much in CAS. You may want to have a look at Cyjon's No CAS Idles.
His mod will conflict with mine, but since it's supposed to stop all idles (not just the face), I think it may solve your problem.

I have UC. I downloaded this and while it did stop all the idle actions, my sims were stuck with a smile on their face. I tried going out of CAS and back in, changing the faces, to no avail. So I just had to uninstall it. Seems like it would be fabulous though if it worked for me.

Has anybody been able to get this mod working if Cyjon's mod was NOT the problem?
I took Cyjon's mod out after reading about the conflict but it didn't change anything. I'm kind of desperate now because editing your sim's features like that is impossible. Does anybody have another idea?
