The town council wants a modern look for the town's new library, so they contracted renowned local architect Hugobert von Schmuck to design one for them. What he came up with is this Hanging Library. The glass-walled structure hangs from huge X-shaped support structure. The first level are just the entrance plus men's restroom and a desk for security personnel. A reflection pool surround this area. The second level is the main library level. The top level houses a computer center, plus additional sitting area and books.

No CC but uses objects from High End Loft and Ambitions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

i remember doing in art project in high school once using this very concept, it turned out quite well, but reminiscence aside it does look to be a very interesting and nice piece of work.

Hi, I downloaded this, but for some reason it won't upload saying that it is missing some files etc. I have all the expansions including ambitions so can't figure out what the prob is - it looks great in the pic though.

I think there is somthing wrong with the file Ive tried downloading it 5 times and when I open it using WinRAR I get
! C:\Users\....\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Downloads\MTS_BGatot_1121397_The_Hanging_Library.rar: CRC failed in The Hanging Library.Sims3Pack. The file is corrupt
! C:\Users\....\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Downloads\MTS_BGatot_1121397_The_Hanging_Library.rar: Unexpected end of archive

Downloaded this for a new world I'm playing, then decided that I liked the library that came with it. So, I took out all of your lovely bookshelves and converted this lot into a gallery for modern art. Is totally perfect for that. Was totally perfect before, but works just as well as an upscale art gallery.
So, LSS. thanks for the lovely upload. It has given some much needed class to my new neighborhood.

Thank you, this library is the perfect replacement for the ugly library that comes with Hidden Springs! Exactly the same lot size as well.
