I need to clarify something. The book-only recolor is a default replacement and the invisible base is just a recolor? Is that right?

Yes Lucy you are correct - the base is a regular object recolor; but the surface is a default replacement because that part of the desk is not typically recolorable.

Hey so its usable in the buy catolog so my sims can use it wen i build a hotel they can own a hotel and people can just come in and rent a room?

http://www.sunni.us/objects-hostpodium.htm if you take a look at the pictures here (and read the description too!), I think you'll see that the invisible recolour can be quite useful for people who want to create a more realistic restaurant
I know I'm certainly glad to have found this download, it's going to get a lot of use in my game :P

This would be great too but I downloaded the invisible restaurant podium recently and it wouldn't show up in my home business restaurant only in community lots. I used a hack to show all community lot objects in buy mode but that just wouldn't show . Can anyone help perhaps?
