Great Mod...thank you for this. My Butler is awesome!! He has his own room with TV and private bathroom. He is so good he even takes care of the kids. No more lazy maids and deadbeat babysitters!!!

Hi, I downloaded this mod and it was the first one I have ever downloaded, and for about five days it worked great. I downloaded the version where the butler costs 1200 per week and only cooks when asked to do so, and at first everything worked wonderfully. Then, out of the blue, my butler started cooking like mad all over again :L I didn't download any patches or anything new. Any explanations??

I see all these posts about the butler cooking too much. I have the opposite issue. No matter how hungry my sims get, my butler will not cook for them. Even when I ask the butler to cook, she only cooks an individual meal instead of a family meal. I have tried firing/re-hiring and it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

My butler is still cooking food, even though I have the version where (s)he shouldn't do it without being asked. The 5000/day (s)he takes, however.

edit: My latest expansion pack it "Pets", and I haven't updated the patch since then.

I use no cook mod. When a sim asks the butler to cook, he/she cooks for one person only but not for the whole family. My game is patched to 1.38. I have Late Night and Generations.

Hi. I am having the same issue. My butler will only cook a single meal when my family of nine gets hungry. I'm not sure what to do.

To all: I do not even have the mod and have had issues with the Butler only cooking single meals even though I, at the time, had a family of 7. There is a definite possibility that EA broke the butler somehow not the mod, just a possibility. Also love the mod hopefully it will be fixed soon, i'm too poor in my current game to afford the butler so I will wait as needed.

I downloaded the never cooks option. Thank you! I just hated how all my sims would go eat constantly!! ughh

Hi, I LOVE this mod, it was working great for me, but now I'm having an issue since patch 1.55. My butler has gone back to cooking non-stop, except now he doesn't finish anything, he just preps food, sets down the prepped, but un-cooked food, and begins another meal. My counter-space is quickly taken up with half-made, rotting food. =\

I've tried clearing my caches (both for the game and CCMagic) and re-downloading the mod. Nothing seems to work. Could it be a conflict, say with an nraas mod? (I have most of twallan's suite, plus over 100 other mods, but to my knowledge, none of the others directly affect butler/service sim behavior.)

Anyways, I'm having some trouble with the mod and I was really hoping you could hep... Eventhough I installed the ButlerNeverCooksA version, my butler is cooking like crazy! He/she (I've fired quite a few because they are all doing this) starts cooking a meal, then stops half-way through and starts a new one, and keeps doing this until he/she has no more space to put un-prepared dishes in, and then finishes cooking only the last one.

I get the same results regardless if the .package file is in the Packages folder or the Overrides folder.

My game version is 1.66, and the only EP I've installed is Late Night, which is updated to v 6.5

I posted before that ButlerNeverCooksA doesn't work for me. The butler still cooks when Sims are hungry. But then I tried the B version and it works, strangely enough. For those of you who wanted the version of the butler to never cook, try version B, if A didn't work for you. HIH.

I cant get my butlers to cook meals when people are hungry, I'm on the Island Paradise map, i have a few Nraas mods, I wanted the 5hr meal mod but Butler never cooked one meal over 3 days. So i tried out the 140min ver B to see if the mod was working and yes Butlers cost $5000 so I know its installed still after 3 days not 1 meal was cooked by the Butler...

I'd like to get some auto meals out of the butlers, but at least on Island Paradise they dont cook for me

Hey, tried this one out, the butler still cooks meals maybe it's because my game version is 1.50?

yo if this mod dont work put the fridge in a room by itself and lock his can out.just lock it and only allow your sim with the highest coking level to go in,this stops house fires too

My butler keeps cooking autonomously now since I installed something else that I figured wouldn't affect it. I'm not sure what mod it is, so I tried moving ButlerNeverCooksA to Overrides. I tried editing it myself. This is what I changed:

TimeBetweenSuccessfulCookingSessions seems to not be affecting anything at all.
