Hee hee hee...It actually isn't my favorite color, either. I'm really not much of a pastel kind of person, in general. Earthtones are more my thing. But it seemed to fit the "cuteness" of the house. I've "recolored" this house endlessly for my own purposes, though.

It looks nice and cabin-y with some cedar siding on it, plus changing out the carpeting and kitchen tile for wood flooring with area rugs.
