One of my top annoyances with TS2 is the fact that if I have a brunette or dark haired sim and want them to marry a blond or red headed sim (or vice-versa), their children will always have either black or brown hair unless I A. Use only second or later generation sims that have a recessive gene for blond or red hair in addition to their dominant one for brown/black (certainly doable, but it means that none of the members of my founding generation can be brunette or black haired if I want any blond and/or redheaded second gen sims) or B. I edit ALL of my brunette and black haired sims (or at least the ones I want to reproduce anyway) to be heterozygous for hair genetics in SimPE (not exactly practical!). Thanks to you, I no longer have to use either method (and I get to actually be surprised by who's hair color Lil Simmie pops out with!). YEEHOOO!

Funny, I just signed in for the first time in YEARS because I'm getting into the Sims 4, and just checked this thread for fun. I just wanted to say thank you for bothering to post on such an old thread, it was really great to see such a recent comment!
