This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
The one overused and abused object from TS2 that I miss the most is the Aquaplus Shower Stall - with the back removed. I've had this mesh sitting in my WIP folder for months due to the shower curtain animation impaling sims, so I finally dusted it off and finished it! No more impaling! Yay! The shower is designed to fit snugly into a 2x1 space, so the tub and shower rod is up tight to the walls, and the shower head and handles appear to be attached right to the wall.

Check out the moving shower curtain! Wooooot!

Technical Bits
  • Buy/Appliances/Showers & Tubs
  • §475
  • 4 Channels (tub, hardware, curtain, rod)
  • One preset (as shown)

Polygon Counts:
Polys are a bit higher than the EA expensive shower/tub due to the curtain mesh. Most curtain meshes are flat and EA attempts to add folds via textures - which I don't much like the look of - so I am using the curtain mesh from the TS2 shower.

High - 2693 (EA one is ~1700)
Low - 1572

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

It's working again Clearing my cache did it, not sure why. Anywho, thanks and whatnot for this, it's my favorite shower combo to use!

Okay I have generations, late night, and the pets EP. But after I downloaded your tub my game stopped working completely. After I click "Play" it will go to the loading screen and pops up "The Sims 3 has stopped working".

Just Asking... Has anyone else had this problem?

I love your Simple shower tub, but... When it breaks sometimes and My sim goes to repair it (and seems like they do), it sometimes still remains broken (leaks / Water splash) and my sim cannot repair.

Edit: I have to replace it when it does this.
Me? Sarcastic? Never.

I will have to investigate this further, but I suggest trying again with no other cc to make sure you don't have an out of date mod that affects cleaning/repairing. Don't forget to delete caches when doing so.

Nevermind....

the EA base game shower of power did the samething to me the other day {on a 'vanilla' game}...

(If this object is cloned from the same object, and retextured, ect., then it would not surpise me that this is another EA messup)

all i can hope for is that you accepy my personal apology...

Sorry...

Many thanks! My poor sims have been dying for an affordable combo. No idea why they decided we didn't "need" one in this game!

Thank you so much. Your shower/tub is one of my "Must haves" each time I reinstall my game. It's just not the same without it!!

Odd question I just thought of, how difficult would it be to make this have a right hand drain and showerhead instead of left hand drain? I absolutely love this shower/tub combo and wanted to use it in a model of my own house, but my house has right hand drain and fixtures.

Thank goodness, I was so hung up over the fact that I couldn't recreate a "normal" bathroom because none of them had the kind of tub that almost every home has.
