Pattern --- US AIRFORCE DIGITAL CAMOFLAGE

by Request

Thanks to gijoothewarhero here at MTS I am pleased to offer you the US Airforce Digital Camoflage as a pattern in incredible detail.

This pattern has 4 channels/layers to allow for all the colours of the original. You will find it in CAS under Fabrics.

Enjoy!

In-Game Category: Fabric

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Well, clearly the reason the thumbnail's not showing is because it's camouflaged.

I didn't even know the Air Force had its own camo. I always figured everyone used the same, just in different colors. Of course, I'm only really familiar with the US Army since both my brother and his wife are soldiers.

Any chance you could do the US Army's digital camouflage?

I asked Simmiller if he'd be interested in other countries/services camouflage and he agreed. I sent him swatches for the US Army, the two different ones for the US Marine Corps, the dark blue US Navy, British Jungle DPM, Russian Army, and German Army camo. All the resources to make a little Rainbow Six in the Sims!

Oh, but gijoothewarhero, I'm a girl

I am working on those camos, but a couple are giving me trouble, so it may be a while.

@ninjakitten....thank you so much for the laugh! I "see" it's working now.

Thanks, everyone!

Oh jeez, I'm so sorry! I treat everyone online as androgynous and just use masculine nouns and what-not. X.X

Really good work there, can't wait for your new camouflages to come out. I wonder if there's any chance of altering the Military Carreer clothing to this (and other) patterns...
