The Anti-Penguin hack was causing a jump bug ("Object Error") every morning about 7 am, which was more annoying than the penguin. I think I will just put up with the little beast even though he has absolutely no business showing up in my Strangetown (which is set to double summer and no winter).

I downloaded the no witches but couldn't get it to work They always still showed up.

Unfortunately, I am also getting this error (all year round and at random times of day/night). I was able to identify this mod using the 50:50 method. It only affects the no penguin mod (presumably because it is tied to some check on the weather). I get a similar stack trace to SimMaven.

The other mods are great and I've had no issues. For anyone having a problem with the no penguin mod, the Visitor Adjuster Controller by Twojeffs also allows you to ban the penguin, though it is a lot less "hands-off" than Neder's mod (you need to buy and configure the Controller on every lot you want to ban the penguin from).

Fortunately, the penguin is the least annoying of these NPC visitors, so for now I will let him stay.

I play the Complete Collection version. I don't know why but the unsavory charlatan is still spawning in my game. I make a new neighbourhood and he's showing up. No idea why it's not working. I remember this mod used to work for me but now it doesn't.

The "No Skunk" fix stopped working, don't know why - probably too many mods. Oh well, he can be safely deleted (via MoveObjects On) whenever he appears.

Just to report that I'm also experiencing the same error reported by SimMaven with the 'no penguin' mod. I'm taking it out and will manually ban the penguin with visitor controler.

What do you have against penguins? Do you also hate babies, kittens, puppies, pizza, ice cream, and JESUS? I'm an atheist, but that just came to my mind and it sounded funny. I feel like Christians would AHA mean for saying that, but it really just sounded funny.
