Congrats on the new computer (which is always an exiting event) & am very glad to see you back designing stuff! (New graphics cards/chips are always cool. I vividly remember how great it was to be able to max-out all the settings in the game & my shiny new card not even breaking a sweat!)

With so many designers ditching TS2 for that @#$% TS3 it's nice to see beautiful stuff still being created for this most awesome game!

Yay, you're back! I would love for there to be a Mauritania door with clear or frosted glass. I don't really like the patterned glass that Maxis made...

There is one on my Mauritania Expansion SET (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=313762) Third file - clear glass. You don't need to get the set - the recolour is for the door - the windows set (if you want them) are slaved to it.

@Zirconia Wolf: Yeah, I'm thinking the "new" desktop could probably run TS3, especially once I find a good video card for it. It's only three years old, has a decent processor, and I maxed out its RAM to 4GB, so it should run it..but I really have no interest in it. I did give TS3 a test run when my daughter got the game for her birthday shortly after it came out...but it just didn't suit the way I like to play. And, actually, I like the way TS2 looks more than TS3. (And I'm talking about the architectural stuff, not the way the Sims themselves look.) So...yeah, sticking with 2, I'm afraid. I'll keep creating for it until I run out of things to create, if only for my own uses, and I'll keep sharing what I makeas long as there's interest.

And yeah, it's definitely a blast to see this stuff with better graphics! :D

@Leesester: I'll plug you till the day I die...Wait, that didn't sound right. Anyway, I loves all your stuff. I seriously can't build a decent-looking house without all your window/door goodies.

@Kattydid: Like Lee said, she did a clear recolor (which I have and use often because the Maxis patterns don't always go with my decor), but I think some frosted glass patterns would be nice, indeed. That'd add interest without adding color that might clash. I'll look into it.

I'm very excited to learn you've already recolored most everything and it's just a matter of posting/uploading it?!?! VERY excited - thank you for more of 20 woods recolors!

Yep, I still (and always will) take requests. How quickly I can fill them depends on my professional workload, however. Right now, I'm pretty much open until early/mid-December. My son's getting married on December 17. They're just having a small, simple ceremony for friends and very close family, but it's going to be here at the house and that means it has to be *gasp* cleaned. Thankfully, my daughter will be doing all the necessary cooking/baking. (Yay for "Cuisine Sim" kids! )

But anyway! Yeah, if you've got a request, feel free to fire away. PM me, put it here, whatever. If you're wanting a wood door/window kind of thing, it's probably already done, in fact; I'll just need to package it up and prepare the upload.

@BoilingOil: Yay, another DL folder what hates me! I aspire to make every DL folder on the planet hate me. And I'm glad you like these well enough to add folder bloat.

I always needed recolors of that door... but I could never find any good ones - or ones that didn't glitch. Well, now I have them. Sure, my downloads folder will hate me, but at least my game will look great! Thanks, iCad!
