People who bother downloading custom content at all are different from people who play only to see their Sims burn to death or drown. You can argue that we're supporting their deaths through this download, but we only want to shorten Sims' lives, not eliminate them.

I think I have found a conflict. Within my teens years after they age and their first teen day of highschool is fine, but then the next day it won't let them take the bus or walk. The only way they can get to school is by car. AND if they get a teen job the next day it gives them the adult version and times of the career. Now I have the teen pregnancy mod, which is what I am thinking is a possible conflict...but other than that all the other ages so far are okay. I would really like you to look into this, because this is the only age mod that fits my needs! So please check it out. (also the pregnancy mod is for both genders, and teens can move out or get engaged/married in their teen years)

Thank you, I'll check it out. (I have school tho, so that'll have to wait for a bit.)
You mean Inteen/Insim? That's known to cause MANY conflicts. Try removing it and playing your teen Sims without it, then let me know if that's still the case.

Thank you so much for making this! It works like a charm; I'm especially happy about the stupid toddlers growing up faster. It's creepy when you have more than one and they "huggle"...shudder.
I'm doing an enormous legacy, I have over 50 Sims I'm concurrently playing, I believe I'm in the 6th generation now, and this will free up some valuable real estate without me feeling like a super villain as I kill them off prematurely.
Thank you again for making this!

Hahaha this made me laugh Yeah, my Walker/Harris legacy has too many siblings... I should stop making my Sims have multiple children, it ends up being hard to handle.

No, unfortunately not. Once you place the mod, your current Sims will still have the normal lifespan until they age up to the next life stage (or die). Once you remove the mod, I *believe* they keep the shortened life stage until they age up, but I'm not sure, I'll have to look into that.

Thanks for your feedback, everyone! I'll be adding some of this information to the post later.

Ok I found the problem and fixed it, when you have inteen you need to download the flavor pack "no adult teens" for the teens to get on the school bus and go to school...this way you can have this wonderful mod and inteen...I think you should mention this in the description just in case anyone else has this problem.

@naminji98: Wanting them to die isn't the same as wanting them to age faster. For some people it makes it a lot easier to stick with a family when they don't live as long.
Although I have to say, I was tempted to lock my teenage Sim in an empty room when he continously stomped on the flowers with annoying, insane-sounding laughing that really gets on my nerves...

Do you already have another age mod or conflicting mod installed? Perhaps insim/inteen?

I don't cheat, so 3 days for me to learn toddlers to walk, talk and be pottytrained is not enough >_> It's already hard with only 4 days and working parents XD

But I really want my elders to have a shorter lifespan ... they're just at home looking out of the window, Idk what to do with them T^T

But anyway - it's a cool mod XD

Waaaay after the other comments, but does this affect townies and NPC's when they join household (moving in / marriage)? I ask because I have one sim, who will be adult 29 days (which is fine cus I added the mod after my first play of him) and, after adding the mod, a townie has moved in, but also has 29 days till elder. So does it affect them... if it does, when will it start affecting townies who move in? Next generation, or..? Thanks much

Thanks so much for making this! I'm an incredibly impatient person when it comes to my sims aging, and I've ended up giving up a lot of legacies because of it.
Now Generation 4 of my legacy has been born and it's a new record for me! Thank you so much!

Thank you! FINALLY! Babies are there for NOTHING, just cry and keep parents busy with them! Lot of my Sims mothers are tired after they have the baby, and while the father is working, they are trying to sleep just to have the baby crying every 5 freaking seconds!!
ONE OF THEM DIED BECAUSE SHE COULDN'T EAT!! SHE HAD TWINS!!

This is exactly what I wanted!
Not that I would like my Sims to die young, but at a certain point they have so much time that the game gets too easy. Hopefully this will make it more chanllenging!

Finally! Thanks for this, hope it doesn't make anything explode. Except my stupid old sims that I get sick of after about 15 minutes. Maybe I'll be less of a sim serial killer now.

Thank you for this! I find many mods expanding sims lifespan but honestly, what do you do after maxing out (Or in my terms, "skillcapping" a character? they are just too perfect to continue living. I even try avoiding to use Elixir of Life... It's fun to see generations pass and sims change
