I want to thank you creator for making this. I'm now using IP.

I also want to make sure people aren't making the same mistake I am. You have to download the latest pack you have (EP/SP). Then select form the zip file which loading screen you want. I did it backwards. xD

Thanks a lot, this works really well. University is the last EP I have installed but I find its screen to be probably the most hideous and couldn't stand looking at it anymore. Now using Seasons, which looks great.

As others have pointed out (but which bears repeating for new users) you need to download the version of the mod that matches the most recently released Expansion or Stuff pack you're using, NOT the pack whose loading screen you want to see. Using my example the most recently released pack I've installed is University but I wanted the Seasons loading screen instead, so I downloaded the version of the mod that's made for University and comes with Expansion pack screens, and installed the EP9 - EP8 file that came with it.

If you aren't sure of the order in which Sims expansion and stuff packs were released you can check The Sims 3 on Wikipedia for a chronological listing.

Can you Make it randomized? Like you get different loading screen for each time to play the game, that would be awesome!

I don't know yet if you've been able to change the loading text strings yet, but Avenicci has created a loading screen replacement of his own that also modifies the loading text strings (http://modthesims.info/d/518770/the...placement.html). If you haven't already, do you think you'll create a version of your loading screen replacement that changes the text strings as well?

Has this ever been resolved? Because I'm having the exact same issue but with a different game language.

Thanks for the great mod. Just in case if anyone need randomized title screen, I made a simple additional program for just that (did it for myself, tho. It's not a mod.). In case if someone interested, I have uploaded the program here https://modthesims.info/d/678135. Have fun!

I've noticed that this bug only happens on non-english sims 3, I hope they fix it

To anyone wanting a truly random loading screen, while unfortunately there's no mod that can do that natively, you can do this by using a program that gets executed on launching the game, this program would then shuffle the order of the loading screen packages by renaming them to random numbers, the one with the lowest number gets loaded in and will be what you see when the game enters. If you're on Windows operating system, this program in question is a batch script. I'd use Steam to pass in a launch option that will open that batch script. I can't go in depth on how to create a batch script here, but commands should look something like this:
Code:
@echo Off
for i in "[path to seperate folder for this mod here, without the brackets]"*.package
do
ren "i" "random.package"
done

Note: This script is guaranteed not going to work as is. I don't have a Windows machine handy atm, but if I find time to figure the script for this, I'll post it here.
With the script ready (it should have a .bat extension), go to Steam, right click on the game, then click Properties > General. In the 'Launch options' tab, put this command in: <path to the batch script here, without the arrows>; %command%. This should theoretically work, and now you should have yourself a randomized loading splash screen.
