How this mod works:
~Failure (whichever flavor you choose) X EpicFailure (Death) = Ghost!
~In other words, choose a flavor (0%, 5%, 10%, 25%, 33%, 50%, 75%, 90%, or 100%). This is how often your Sim will fail a magic trick on the Box of Danger, regardless of skill level. When the trick fails, there is a 100% chance of the Sim dying, and producing a ghost of either WateryGrave or HumanStatue coloring, depending on if the trick was Watery Grave or Buried Alive, respectively. Your Sim will only die if they fail the trick.
~Additionally, this mod removes the trait multipliers for Daredevil and Hydrophobic, and unlocks the death types for magicians of Level 0.
~The difference between 0%MagicDeathNoFail and 0%MagicDeathRegFail is that the former makes it so the trick never fails, so the Sim never dies, and the latter keeps all the original game tunings, except there is never a chance of death; requested by VincentRos.
~Overrides BoxOfDanger_0xcfc995fa7466b025_XML. It will conflict with any other mod that does the same.

If anyone would like a custom tuning, please let me know.

This can be a very useful Mod if you are trying to rid yourself of an annoying Sim. One question, though...what color of ghost will you get if your Sim kicks the bucket this way?

Hello l8nytsimmer,

You questioned the ghost colors resulting from dying in the Box of Danger. If Buried Alive interaction*is used, the ghost will be clear. If made a playable ghost the portrait will appear as the sim did when it was alive, as opposed to the color of the ghost. If*Watery Grave interaction is used, the ghost should look and behave as the Drowning ghost. These are shown in the pictures on the mod page. Thank you for your question.*

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I've opted to download two flavors of your Mod; the 25% and the 50%, but will only install and use ONLY ONE flavor at a time (removing the previous version before I install the other). After I've used it for awhile, I can decide which of the versions I like best, and finally delete the one I no longer want. I have a feeling this is not only going to be a useful Mod, but also one that gives me a laugh or two. Thanks again for creating the Mod and for sharing it.

Could you do this with the Philosipher's Stone? I want a way to turn my sims to gold when I want to.

Thanks for this mod. Is it possible to also make a version of this mod which tunes the chance of death to zero?

Return of the Mac and Cheese
Hello Sims connoisseurs!
For those of you that use this mod, I apologize for my ridiculously long absence (though I guess they worked out the kinks of the Lazarus Project, 'cause I'm back twice as fast Commander Shepard OHHHH! As to why that time jump would make any sense, I'm citing wibbly wobbly, time-y wimey stuff. ). I hope to actually update this within the week-ish (most likely for Into the Future, how appropriate, which is set to come out the 22nd). As a side note, I'm also going to be updating/posting some of the other useful mods I've made (or remade) soon, yay! Thanks to all who continue to support and download this!

Hello VincentRos,

Yes, that is definitely possible. I realize this is several months late (Sorry!) but I will include that in the next update (to be posted the week of the 22nd) if you're still interested. I appreciate your inquiry.
