Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Merrycliff is a small town built on top of a cliff face overlooking one of the most beautiful oceans in SimNation, the Simuyan Sea. The terrain is actually an edit of the "Duality" neighbourhood that came with Apartment Life, but I removed the spiky, evil witch half and increased the flat area and roads on the other side. This town would make an ideal suburb; or - if you have the right expansion packs - could easily become a Mountain or Far East getaway or even a Downtown.

The terrain will be undecorated when you create your new neighbourhood, but if you want to achieve the look from my pictures you will need Numenor's Waterfall & River and Criquette's Road Bridges Set. All the buildable areas are flat, but due to its height and position, you will need a camera mod to see the majority of the playable area.

Don't forget to press the Thanks button!

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

No. It's just a map (SC4), not a decorated neighborhood. You'll have to do the decoration yourself.

Here's a waterfall neighborhood deco for download:

This is a very nice little neighborhood, and just right for what I want to do.

There are many good neighborhoods to download, but some of them are so grand - even overdone - and many require the special camera mod, which I don't want to bother with. This is perfect, and has a lot of potential for embellishment.

Thank you so much for this; it will get plenty of use in my game.

Unfortunately, you will need a camera mod to play this neighbourhood properly! They're not too hard to use though, and you'd only need one for the Neighbourhood Camera.
