Late to the party (as is usual for me) but just had to add my not-so-little "THANK YOU!"

I was soooo excited when Free Time was released...and so less-than-excited when the ridiculous & completely biased realities became evident! For the record, I'm a big fan of both the the "Arts & Crafts" & "Music" hobbies (both in RL & the Sims 2) but good grief! It was like every friggen thing a Sim did in the game after FT was installed made them either art savants or musical prodigies! (Seriously: flower arranging as Arts & Crafts, but not even a hint of Nature??? And the robots as a Tinkering thing...aaaarrrrgggg!)

Thanks for the more locial (& much more balanced) game play mod! My science-geek Sims are especially grateful!

This is exactly what I wanted! Thanks! I felt like all my Science Sims were doomed to either making medicine with the medicine thing (Which is a pain in the butt, to be honest), or using the Telescope! I also had one of my nature Sims open a Flower Shop to be later surprised that he was gaining Arts & Crafts enthusiasm instead! I'm going to have to wait a little bit before I download the Robots one, though, because I have a Tinkering Sim who builds robots for a living!

There really aren't enough science activities. There should be working microscopes that enable finding smaller and smaller things, and discoveries of new bacteria, and going from low power microscopes all the way up to electron microscopes, and there could have been photographs of cool stuff via the microscopes...

Anyway... Thank you! Almost all my sims are science-oriented so this really is helpful, as well as the toys=tinkering and flowers=nature. Makes much more sense this way.

Thank goodness I found this...the lack of science enthusiasm builders has been driving me crazy since I got UC! I appreciate the other tweaks too, they make more sense. Thank you!

Thank you. I sure do appreciate the robot and toys being assigned to different hobbies and want to thank you for giving us those options. :D
