First of all, thank you so much for this wonderful world! I love it and it seems to work like it's supposed to -- however, I've one problem I can't figure out (I'm fairly new to The Sims 3, sorry) and since Google isn't helping either I'm turning to you.

When placing new lots in the neighborhood view, it sometimes gives a message saying "can't place on unroutable terrain" even if the terrain seems fine... when you zoom in, you see plants (bushes, weeds, flowers) usually in places where there used to be trees that I deleted. I can't pick up and delete the small plants. I think they're the problem because I can place lots almost anywhere where they don't touch any plants. Is there any way to get rid of those?

I'm not sure what the plant issue might be- generally you can place lots in world editor mode even with plants- though if you are trying to place your lots on steep edges where I probably do have nonrouteable terrain that could be a problem.

For anyone struggling to get 7zip to work correctly with multi-part files, just delete the part of the filename that MTS adds to the front, so that the filenames are the same as shown on the download page.
eg.
MTS_bakafox_1306414_Avalon-BuildEditionBaseworldbybakafox.part1.rar
becomes
Avalon-BuildEditionBaseworldbybakafox.part1.rar
do this for each file so that you have similarly named files ending with .part1.rar, .part2.rar and so on, and then ask 7zip to extract part1.
What is important is that the part of the filename preceeding the number should be the same, you can in fact leave it out altogether and just name the files, 1.rar, 2.rar, 3.rar, 4.rar and 5.rar

Love this world, but FYI, there are a few bits of CC attached when I opened it in Custard. I'm still deciding if I'll clean it and install it or not.

This is my favourite world. I've just re-installed Sims 3 on a new laptop, and this time I didn't include pets (I got tired of raccoons turning over my bins, and all my non active families adopting pets when I'm not looking. Honestly, two horses on a lot that had hardly any garden!) Anyway, this is just to let you know that Avalon is working just fine without Pets. I've had a few 'un-routable sim' messages from Overwatch, but that's down to my lot placing, I expect. By the way, you can boat out to that island if you have Island Paradise installed. Or you can use the LLAMA if you've got Supernatural..

Or a dive well thing if you want to get one of those working
