Hi everybody, its Duncandoughnuts here, and I have brought you something entirely new to me. This is actually the first house I have ever built in the Sims 3. This is entirely new to me, so I hope you like the design. This beautiful house is a Mediterranean style Cliff-side villa. It was on the verge of being at mansion status, but then I went a bit overboard on the garage and made it take up an entire side of the house. This house has a one of a kind look with a courtyard driveway that the house is centered around. The house took a good 8 straight hours of my Saturday night to build, nearly every piece of furniture is a custom color. Just a warning, this house has basically no yard because it takes up most of the lot. This villa was actually inspired by my current house; actually it’s more of a replica. I hope you enjoy and I’m open to criticism since this is the first house I built in TS3, also interior design is not my strong suit... at all, so fell free to completley redo it. Enjoy!

P.S. The tennis court is not functional; it is simply for enhancing the appearance of the house.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Of all the modern mansions on this site, this is one of the best.

As a first-time effort it's great. Some unusual choices but it shows a great potential for making interesting houses.

Main change I'd probably make if I used it would be to reduce the garage by one space sideways to increase the kitchen & dining area and make the end parking spaces part of that and utility room plus basement access but that's just due to the type of people my main town is designed for. Otherwise it would fit the "rich man's second home" concept of most of my stuff perfectly.

@Fergie: Thanks so much
@Collector: That's actually a fantastic idea. I'll probably make those changes, it would make the house a bit more.. real. In my next house that I upload I will have a basement garage too. Thanks for the input
