Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
With the Late Night patch, we got the opportunity to shift things up and down the walls. It made things much more versatile and allowed us to use things in different ways. However, EA, in all their infinite wisdom, forgot to patch in older items. As expansions have been released, they've also forgotten to add the functionality to some new items as well. So I am here to fix it up for you! What I've included are items from every expansion pack up to Seasons. Everything is in one convenient download but organized in folders by each expansion, as well as base game so you can pick piece meal what it is you need for your game.

Also included are 2 items unlocked from their lonely pits of despair: the Fire Truck from Ambitions is unlocked and now located in Miscellaneous BuyDebug. Also, the pretty flower painting from Seasons had 2 other stencils, 1 a bird, and 1 a butterfly, that EA forgot to enable so I did that too.

These are all default replacements to keep your catalogs a little more organized and will be found in the original places.

They are only overrides so you MUST have the expansion they came from to use them. If you attempt to place items in your game that belong to an expansion you do not have, I will not be held responsible for any booms, bangs, black holes, or broken saves.

It was brought to my attention by Menaceman44 that shifting mirrors also shifts sims who use them. I recommend small shifts if using a mirror sims will be using to raise charisma (or whatever else they do with the mirror). If you use it strictly for decor, as I do, you shouldn't need to worry about this.

This is great! I have a problem tho, whenever I try to select any of the corkboards/pinboards in the misc catalog, the game freezes. I took it out to test if it's an issue with my game, but without your mod it works fine, so I think there might be an problem with one of the files. I have all EPS and SPS and Store content and the latest patches.

Lanique, I've had the same issue with a few shiftables I created myself of Store items. I don't know what causes it but what I did notice was that it would only crash my game if I let the catalogue tooltip appear; the bit with the other colour presets and description.
If I yanked the items straight out of the catalogue and recoloured them afterwards they were fine.

I have the same issue myself with some pinboards I've -not- made shiftable. For example, the big squarish one that came with University does this for me and I've not done anything with it as EA already made it shiftable. It's what Menaceman said: grab it without letting the presets pop up and it should be fine. I have no idea why this happens but I know how much it stinks, especially if you haven't saved in awhile!

I have been having the problem of my game freezing when I tried to use the wall tvs and the pinboards. I removed all of this mod and no longer have the problem. Would be nice if it worked. Will try grabbing fast.

I use this is my game every day. As I commented above, I have the issue of the game CTD when I sometimes select EA stuff so I don't believe it is an issue with my mod. Grab it without letting the presets window pull up. Once it is placed, then use the actual CAST tool to change presets or recolor. That's what I have to do for some items, even default ones that have never been modded.

As for the reward certificates, I'm a bad sim handler and have rarely had a sim max out a skill. So I didn't even know they couldn't be moved. Usually I mod stuff if it irritates me or has a need. I have no set plans to do those though so hopefully no one is waiting patiently on the edge of their seat. :p

Thanks for all the work you've put into this mod, Heaven!

I've experienced the "game freezing" issue with one particular item, and tested tonight. The WallVuu Standard TV doesn't like the mod, apparently. (File name heaven_TelevisionWall1x2Shiftable under the EP1 BG folder.) It's the only item I've experienced this issue with so far, so I've just removed that one file. I just thought I'd mention it here, just in case. I don't mind leaving that TV where it is.

I'll keep in mind your suggestion of grabbing the item without the detailed panel coming up, if I encounter the issue with anything else.

I get the freezing when trying to place wall TVs as well, any type (even the base models). Never had the problem before, just FYI.

So does this mean that I can now shift the reward certificates from mastering skills?
