I love small maps that aren't symmetrical and connect to the real world. Thank you for these, and congrats on your first upload! BTW, what is your policy regarding Neighborhood Creators using your maps? I have a project in mind that I think your campus map would be perfect for.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!!

Anyone who wants to use my maps are free to do so! As long as you give me a mention I'm more than happy to let anyone upload things using my maps! Sounds really cool! (Looking back, I probably should have had one road going out not connecting but oh well, didn't really think about it!) I plan on making a bigger set of maps later if I get my project done! Thanks for the congrats!

I might one day finish my Zanes Hollow project, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Until then, you can see what I'm up to on my Simblr!

When you first open The Sims 2, and you see the different neighborhoods you can play, click the arrow to the right and click it until you get to the end. There should be a little logo of four houses with a + sign, and you click that and it'll bring up a pop up of all the terrains the game has. Zanes Hollow should be at the bottom, because the list of terrains is in alphabetical order. Make sure you have extracted all files to your "Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\SC4Terrains" folder. Hope this helped!

Thanks again for the nice comments!

I have a question...how do people build their own neighborhood the way they want to (not just picking one from "create a neighborhood" -- actually building one.) I wouldn't say I'm a beginner bc I have been playing since the first TS2 came out -- I really don't know how to create a neighborhood like shown...

I have a little request regarding map ZanesHollowd.
Could you make a version of that map which doesn't have the bridge over the river?

You have to have SimCity 4 in order to do so. (Which is why the files are .SC4) You just build a map with only "Roads" where you want them to be in the smallest map there is in the game (1x1). If you need any help past that I am more than happy to help you! Just PM me!

Yes ma'am! Would you like me to get rid of the road that leads out of town past the bridge or keep it? What about the road connecting the town to the bridge?

Keep the both roads! I'm going to use Criquette's 40 tile bridge from here.

Sorry it took so long to get this uploaded (I know, I know, it doesn't take much effort or time) but here it is!
Excuse:

Just replace the SC4 file with the one I uploaded.

Edit: I had to replace the attachment because I forgot to rename it. So far, it hasn't updated the attachment. I'll try to check tomorrow if it did or not.
Attached files:
File Type: zip  ZanesHollowd.zip (143.0 KB, 19 downloads)
Description: Zanes Hollow d without the bridge.

I might one day finish my Zanes Hollow project, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Until then, you can see what I'm up to on my Simblr!

A thank you and A request
I adore this map concept...and until I saw this post I had no idea it could be done! Now, what I would like to know is: do you have the time to write a tutorial in which you explain how during the creation process (in SimCity 4) you managed to get each map section to merge like puzzle pieces fitting together? I am terrible at explaining: your maps all fit together like a puzzle, and can be mixed and matched. For those who want to use your idea, but create their own project with the same goal (connectivity with the ability to mix and match) how does one do that using SimCity 4? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! :lovestruc
