So, as I don't seem to have exploded everyone's game with that previous thing, here's another small EA override: this makes it so that strawberry cake has an ingredient, namely, strawberry. One might think this would have to be so by default, but it isn't. (Not sure if I want to know what EA devs put in their strawberry cakes.)

This does not change the look, shape, size, taste or any other parameter of that cake -- it only adds one ingredient. XML only, default override.

2014-12-16 – Updated for (no idea what "Masterworks" are but this is now aware of them).
2014-10-22 – No update needed for 1.0.797.20 (files match).
2014-10-03 – Checked for differences in 1.0.732.20, I don't see any significant changes.

Please make sure that your game is patched to at least 1.0.677.20, otherwise it won't know what to do with this.

Made with velocitygrass' TS4 XML Extractor, Notepad++ and S4PE.

I didn't notice before the strawberry cakes were in the game, and when I first saw this mod I thought it was one that added a new food item, lol!

Anyway, definitely downloading this because it seems really weird that strawberry cakes don't contains strawberries, LOL.

Thanks for making and sharing this.

About installation: Will it make any harm leaving the unpackedmod folder and the added line DirectoryFiles unpackedmod autoupdate in?
I am at the newest patch (1. oct.).

I've had this little goodie from the start. Recently, I did a mod to make all homestyle cooking easier Impeccable Quality and include the handful of recipes that Maxis, for reasons unfathomable, did not grant this quality level available.

When I could not make Impeccable Strawberry Cake, I remembered I had this mod and it was conflicting with my own. The Masterworks Impeccable data was included in the recipe XML, as you mentioned in one of your updates moons ago. However, it had been left in a state of "disabled" by Maxis, for same unfathomable reasons.

Right, to cut this long story short, I was looking through this mod to grab the strawberry ingredient data and do likewise to my own mod, only to find that all code is the same. I can only assume either a) I've finally gone XML blind and all the numbers and data looks the same to me, or b) Maxis have done a sly strawberry ingredient fix themselves and neglected to mention it in their patch notes.

BTW, I know you don't have GTW, but the Strawberry Cake recipe XML here is missing a chunk of "retail data" that will scupper anyone who does have GTW and wants to sell strawberry cakes in their bakery shop.

Cheers, plasticbox

Edit: It is a case of XML blindness. Just saw it in game, no ingredients at all for strawberry cake without this mod. Okay, time to clean my smudged glasses and give the XML another looksee.
