I had to remove the homes I downloaded because one was causing my game to crash. I swore I would not add any houses to my game again, but I am giving yours a try. It's beautiful!

This was my first house to build ever in the Sims 4, and took me a couple of days to work on, and there were lots of tears, blood, and sweat .

Mostly, I build by trail and error (try it, does it work, does it look good, No? = back to square one), but for the split level I did use a tutorial on you tube by The Sims Supply, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOIuVFWh5DY.

I did download most of the upper level rooms from the gallery, but everything on the lower level I made. PS: I had some issues getting a circular counter top on the Kitchen to show till I noticed a button in the counters to remove auto counter tops (button looks like cog to a machine comes up under colors or there is a button on the bottom left that said turn auto counters off/on).

I recommend finding youtube tutorial videos online to get the hang of things and ideas, and then getting your hands dirty and trying the building features out. :D
