Very creative! I was so tired of the standardized face template finally found something so thank you and I hope you continue to create new stuff hopefully clothes hint hint!

On the screenshots, what do the letters stand for? Like Ff, AF, AM, etc.

Those are the age and the gender of each. for example, AF means Adult Female.
Or EM means Elder male.
U is unisex.

Does this require any specific skins? Or does it just change the face templates? I like your pictures with a variety of people. I'm going to be making Asian and Black sims so hopefully, these templates will help. And with Caucasian sims too. Are they called Asian within the sims?

I never managed to make template mod work... I put the package in the download folder without their sub-folder but it simply don't work

Hi. Just DL-ed these and checked them out. No problem on my end. I have a few suggestions for you. Hopefully, that will help you get them into your game.

1. Obvious (sorry!) The icons look very similar to the original faces. I wasn't sure there'd been a change until I made a sim and switched each face. (The elf and alien are the same if you have a mod that let's you access them in CAS.)

2. Obvious 2 (again sorry since you probably know this). I just came back to Sims2 and forgot to enable cc in my options!

3. Did you clear out your cache and thumbnails (accessory cache, groups cache, content)? I've read you can remove the cigen.package, but I never get CEP to work right if I don't have that in there. Probably operator error! Not sure why those mess up newly installed cc, but they can.

4. Are your templates folders too deep? (stuck within many other folders) I know the game only reads to a certain level.

5. Last obvious! (Please don't hit me!) Did you unzip your file? Again, back after several years and used to playing a game that reads a mod from a zipped folder.

That's all I can think of. You could try re-downloading the file and trying again. Maybe your DL got corrupted. I really like these in my game. The people look different, but not kill it with fire fugly even on the more homely ones. Oh! One more thing. The change will not show up on existing sims or townies. You either need to create a new sim or (to see on townies and NPCs) start a new world. I don't know if the normal "townie" folder will change the faces on the likes of Goopy and Komei. I use empty hoods, so I don't have them to check.

someone would have to make them into nondefault face templates. there's some tutorials floating out there, i think.

Not working for me, at least not for males. All my heads are gone for males and the only faces are the default. And the male has elf ears for some reason.

Did anyone notice that one of the mouth pieces for teen males are having giant teeth? I really love this Default Replacement, but this mouth piece is just really scary... It happens only with this specific mouth and only for male teens...
