Of course your Sims will not age while you're not playing the game. What do you expect?

If they all live on the same lot, they will age accordingly... but if you have family members that have moved out, they will age when you play them (if you have aging turned on). If you want them to age around the same time, you'll have to go back and forth between houses.

Am I making any sense to you? It was hard to understand your question.

Default One idea...
If you really want sims to age when they haven't been played, you can use boolprop to make it their birthday until they are in the right life-stage (using "make today my birthday"), then use SimPE to edit their number of days remaining in that life-stage.

I don't feel like enough of an expert to give you detailed instructions. I mostly just back up my neighborhood, then play around and hope for the best knowing that I can always re-load my neighborhood if I do anything stupid.

Hopefully, you're familiar with boolprop and SimPE and can implement the idea. Never play around with them without backing up your neighborhood... just a word of friendly advice.

If you just want them to go to the next lifestage, invite them over to the lot where you're playing, use the Mind Control Mirror to control them and the Insimenator to age them.
