PS: @Munchier sorry it took so long to respond, somehow I missed this question until tonight!

That's absolutely fine! I have been waiting patiently and checking back often!

My sims were all sleeping at that point of time! I didn't wake them up but maybe I should have done!

Thank you so much for making this. I'm gonna update the mod and see how it goes.

Is that just from the death moodlets, or a problem with all the moodlets in the game?

Uh, like...I'm not even sure if it's your mode. lol, I'm starting to think it's not. But I have a few of your mods installed. So the moodlet doesn't show up at all. But the background says very sad, and the sims is all frowny. But it doesn't tell me WHY the sim is sad.

The only mods I've written that really do anything with moods is this one and the more traumatic divorce mods. Both are pretty widely used, and I've never seen this or heard of someone else having the issue.

Is this happening to one sim only, or all sims in the game? Might just be a bugged sim that has something hidden that's stuck (try clearing the buffs on that sim with the "sims.remove_all_buffs" cheat command).

If it's happening to all your sims, you could try a game repair in the Origin client (sometimes fixes some weird bugs). It may also be another mod, in which case I'd suggest try removing things that sound like they might be mood related first and see if it fixes, then track it down - or failing that you'll have to do a 50/50 elimination process. I did a quick Google search, but didn't see any definitive answers by those who had similar problems just suggestions to them saying it's likely a custom trait, so that's a possibility as well.

HTH!

It was mostly compatible with the latest patch, but there were some changes that could affect things in the future, so I'm posting an update to version 3 now.

I think I may have missed something, or changed something incorrectly, in that latest update. It does work, but it seems every death ends up in mourning a "loved one" which is the most severe of the reactions. When I get the chance I'll look into it. Might be a simple fix, or I might have to start over.

Yup, it was a simple fix - a shame I put off looking for it so long fearing it was something complex! Too many irons in the fire.

Anyway, it's fixed now, I failed to change EA's idea of a "loved one" (anyone with a relationship as low as -5!) to mine (relationship > 85) in one location. Redownloading version 3 and copying over it in your mods folder will fix it.

I'm not 100% sure this works anymore because I just had a sim die and there was zero reaction to it at all. Even from her husband and he watched it.

Yeah, I'm not sure it's working on mine either. Last couple of deaths have gotten no reaction. One of my Sims dropped at a bbq at the park, and everyone just kept right on partying, no impact at all. I didn't even realize what had happened till I saw the grave stone a little ways away, because no one had reacted to the reaping.

I'm now like 99% sure this isn't working because my sims all did the T pose instead of reacting the other day. Took the mod out and did it again and everything proceeded normally. I was reading that recently they changed buffs so that's probably why. No idea how one would fix it though.

Please update this mod! I'm so tired of my sims not getting the mourning moodlet cause they were in the next room when it happened!

Duly noted

The only issue with updating should be finding the time to do so, real life is extremely hectic at the moment. I'll put this on the short list of desired updates though, I always did like this one.
