I have never seen that happen yet. That is hilarious! But since I'm sure the protests can only add to the lag in the game, I'm quite happy to download this mod. :)

That screenshot is hilarious! Maybe they forgot to grab the right sign--they're really mad at Nessie. Sea monsters are a menace, you know! Anyway, awesome mod! Also, thanks for explaining that crazy 'Capture the Moment' bug.

Nice fix. It seems to me, however, that protests were there since the base game. In "University", a megaphone was introduced but a single sim used it while propped up on a box.

There are two types of protests: the "normal" one, which came with the base game and which happens in front of City Hall on weekends, and the "improved" one, which can happen everywhere and on almost any day and for which Sims use the podiums and megaphones. This second type, the "improved" protest, came with University Life and what my mod does is to stop it, or rather suppress it.

About frozen motive bug, motives are set to no decay when joining a protest and return to normal in two specific instances: when leaving lot (while protest ongoing) and once protest ends (for those still participating). Which means if someone leaves protest prematurely but stays on lot until event is over they'll experience this bug.
