Hello, great MOD but had 2 questions.... I wanted to use the MOD indoors as an infestation but cannot place indoors is there a way around this? Also my sims are evil so they would probably stomp & not collect the bugs, but there is no "stomp" option? Will this be added to the MOD?> Thanks & great work porting it!

I've just updated all versions to allow being placed indoors now. Thanks for suggesting it.
As for stomping, that's not something that I will be adding to this mod. If you would like insects to spawn on their own where it makes sense and have them be able to stomp on them (or ask other Sims to stomp them on their behalf) I highly suggest checking out lot51's All Bugged Out mod. https://modthesims.info/d/658738/bu...bugged-out.html

I looked at the other MOD you suggested, but it's more of a random occurrence rather than the direct spawning placement like your MOD.. I have a suggestion for you as well, maybe expand some new spawners like frog or toad hatchlings that can be placed near bodies of water? Also straight up infestation nuisances such as wolf spiders, lanternflies, carpenter ants, etc.. Also the cockroaches (which don't appear gamewide anymore like the earlier SIMS versions}.. This would be an awesome idea for your MOD... Thanks again!

Is there a way to use these spawners to spawn insects outside of lots? For example, if I want them to spawn near a fishing spot, in the middle of the road, etc. Thank you for your time!

You would need to use the T.O.O.L. mod and Better Build Buy by TwistedMexi.
T.O.O.L. allows you to place objects outside the Lot in the area around it in Live mode and Better Build Buy allows you to use T.O.O.L. in Build mode.
I haven't actually tried this out myself but that's the only way I could think to do it.
If you are using the version that is always visible though, you wouldn't need Better Build Buy since they don't vanish so you can move them in Live mode.

I have an issue with these spawners. When I add the sign of the blue butterfly I expect it to be only the blue butterfy but I get something else instead.

That would be the Lunar Moth. The descriptions of each spawner tell you what they can spawn. The one with the blue butterfly icon is the Hermit spawner so it spawns Blue Morpho Butterflies and Lunar Moths.

Most of the spawning bugs are really big which I don't like.

If you check the recommended tab there is a link to a mod by coolspear1 that does exactly what you're looking for. You do need to register on the site for free before you can access it though.

I know about the mod from coolspear and switched back to his mod. I had it most all the time before, but it has no place holders like yours. So that makes it hard to grab and move. Oh well, can't have everything, right
