UPDATED 8/12/16: Due to some complaints, I have uploaded a new version with a fork. The problem was that an error would pop up whenever your sim would sit down to eat with a spoon. I am not sure why this is a thing but I have uploaded the fork version which should work just fine in game! If you downloaded before this date I suggest re-downloading. I am so very sorry for any inconvenience.

I decided to continue on with my sherbet uploads and add a Lime Sherbet to the collection, because, why not? So, without further ado I present to you another recolor of crocobaura's original vanilla ice cream, a delicious fruity treat for your non-ice cream sims in the summertime.

What is Sherbet Anyways?
According to culinaryarts.about.com, sherbet is a sweet frozen dessert made with fruit and some sort of dairy product such as milk or cream. It's similar to ice cream in consistency but has a fruit base to it. So to sum it all up, it's delicious And in this upload I've made one of the classic flavors of sherbet, lime.

Let's talk logistics.....

1) My custom made bucket of Lime Sherbet comes in 2 different types, the Simlish and the English version. There is text on the side of the bucket of sherbet and so I wanted to have both options for people. Please, DOWNLOAD ONLY ONE. Both buckets have the same guids so for your own sanity, I suggest downloading only one zip file. (Don't worry, they are clearly marked)

2) The delicious lime sherbet comes on it's own custom plate, created by crocobaura. You need this plate for the sherbet to work properly in your game and so I have included it for you in each zip file. If you have already downloaded my Orange Sherbet or other recolors of crocobaura's ice cream, then you most likely already have it in your downloads folder.

3) My bucket of Lime Sherbet serves 6 sims, as per the norm. It has been cloned from the base game gelatin so your sim doesn't need any cooking skill to pop this out of the fridge. I originally made this dish with a spoon, but the spoon was causing errors for me and people who downloaded it. So, I have since then uploaded the Fork version. Sad I know but I'd rather have something that works than something glitch. Anyways, you'll find this summer treat under "Serve Dessert..." and "Make/Make Many..." if you have the OFB expansion pack. (Please let me know if you have a technical issue with the spoon!)

Final Thoughts:
If you have any questions, suggestions or simply just love lime sherbet, feel free to leave a comment. This is in-game tested in my ice cream shop but if something does come up, let me know! Also, all creators spend a ton of time on their creations so don't forget to hit that "Thanks" button. It means a lot to us.

ATTN: I tested this in-game multiple times and had no issues with it, but suddenly I seem to be having a problem with the spoon in this upload. As in, it says there's an error when my sim is eating it. I switched it back to a fork in my own game and had no problems with it. I believe this to be just my own computer's error but if you are having problems with it, LET ME KNOW. I will upload the fork version in a heartbeat if anyone has an issue with it. Thank you!

EDIT 8/12/16: I have uploaded a new fork version due to some complaints. If you have not have problems with the spoon version, that's great. But I have received enough feedback that I have uploaded a fork version. I apologize for any inconvenience. (Spoons are overrated anyways :P)

I had a look at your lime sherbet in game today (sorry took a bit longer than intended) - it's working fine for me with the spoon. No problems, no errors. Pic attached. I've been making (and testing) ice creams too and I think I'll follow your lead and add spoon use to mine too. Don't worry mine won't compete. I'm making flavours I like, like black cherry and chocolate and orange. Both your sherbets look lovely in game and will make a nice sorbet collection for my ice cream parlour. Looking forward to seeing more.

Oh awesome! I'm so glad! Thank you for taking the time to check, that means a lot. I had a feeling it was just my computer so I'm super glad it's working And I look forward to your ice cream flavors as well!! 32 Below (my ice cream shop) is always looking for new flavors

Hi @InLovewithRed - unfortunately, the issue of the error does seem to be a thing. I had my black cherry ice cream tested over in Creator Feedback and it did throw an error. You might want to have a look here:

It seems to be to do with animations pulled by the spoon. There must be something we're missing in the settings.

Yay! A lemon sherbet would be cool too. I'm looking forward to combining your sherbets and Maxon's ice creams to make an ice cream parlour for my game! :-)
