Last year, we finally had to put down my cat, Tiger. He was over twenty years old. I still miss him.

A day after his death, I entered the Sims 2 Create-a-Pet and set out to give him a new virtual life. Now, over a year later, I'm sending him out to any Sims who want to adopt him for themselves.

Unfortunately, thanks to the real-world Tiger's affinity for sticking his butt in my face (or camera), good full-length pictures of him are difficult to come by.

If you wish to replicate his personality, he's Genius, Lazy, Independent, Aggressive, and Finicky. There's no middle ground for him!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

So sweet! Just the other day I created the two cats we've had pass away - one was 13 and the other was 15. I'll definitely give Tiger a nice home on my game, too. :)

A beautiful kitty. I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost a tuxedo kitty, Marco the Magnificat, just two weeks shy of his 19th birthday.

He sounds like quite a character! Thanks for sharing something so special. :) I did the same thing when my dog passed away. I think its a nice tribute, and it makes me smile to see her virtual self running around my game. :) Another thing I did is put my favorite photo of her into the paintings folder so my artistic sims can paint her. In my computer, its: Computer/Local Disk (C:)/Users/my name/My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Paintings (in case you also want to do that).

Tiger was beautiful <3 and obviously very much loved by his humans since he lived so long.

What a lovely way to commemorate an obviously much-loved and much-missed pet! I've done something very unusual for me: even though I can't download Tiger (because I don't have the Pets EP), I've favourited him.

And welcome to the ranks of the creators!
