Also, the tall pantry cabinet did not come with it, or I couldn't find it in the game.

I think the most recent patch may have done it. Hopefully we'll get an update.

there is no problem that cannot be solved with the proper application of high-explosive projectiles.

Not that it matters (since they aren't currently working) but to select the tall cabinets, you have to deselect "auto counters" and will see the different counter type options to the left of the color options when you click on the coloring submenu.
