This is just what I needed! Great mod, great choices. I play an all-alien legacy and the discovery moodlets drive me crazy! Now I just have to decide which to install. Thank you so much for creating the mod aliens really need.

Yay! This will make playing with TS4 aliens much less annoying. Alien pride galaxy-wide!

It depends on what kind of gameplay you want.
All versions of the mod limit angry reactions to aliens only to mediocre and bad relationships. Neutral and friendly relationships are safe.
If you want the "embarrassed" buff to be permanently gone, download one of the two "no buff" flavors.
If you want to have more important reactions to aliens depending on a large number of traits, download one of the two "extra" flavors. I've largely play-tested "extra" and it's really fun, as most sims react positively, nice sims react sometimes even with friendship if you're lucky, and on the contrary only mean sims are mean but happy and confident emotions don't stop them from being mean.
If you don't really know what to choose, I'd say try "extra". "Extra no buff" if you want to get rid of the embarrassed emotion permanently. Otherwise, just "extra", which is the one I prefer playing with, as this is where sims have the widest range of reactions on both sides, and in a pretty realistic and predictable way. "Extra" is adding much more complexity to relationships between human and alien sims when they discover each other and the bonuses and drops in relationships have the potential to last for a long time.

What program do you use to mod? I have TS2 Body Shop for TS2. But idk what to use for TS3 and TS4. TYVM in Advance.

Oh! P.S.
Do you know how to create mods by converting Sims 3 items into Sims 4 items?
I really LOVE the washer/ Dryer from Sims 3 and I wish they were in Sims 4!

I use Sims 4 Studio to extract XMLs and create packages. And other than this, just a text editor adapted for coding.
I don't know much about CC editing but I think you surely can do it with Sims 4 Studio and Blender. You should ask about it on Sims 4 Studio's forum. Sorry I can't be more useful about this, I make only game mods. I wish you good luck !

While I have yet to see its effects in person, I should thank you for making this anyway. :) Also, does this work with yesterday's long-standing bug fix patch?

Loving this mod. My geek sims are all too happy to meet aliens, and just LOVE being abducted!

I've had this since before pets patch, Flavor Extra, my preferred pack. And it seems to still be working as intended when sims discover aliens.

Sorry for the VERY late reply, but thanks!

Does it still work as of the "Jungle Adventures" pre-patch, though?

I realize this is an older post, but did the Mod break at the time you posted that?

I've haven't used this in a long time (if ever, IIRC), but it is broken? Dang. Thanks for the info, though.

This mod DOES actually work with build 1.96.397, which is the current build as of 4/4/23. The flavor that does work is the top download on the download page, which is "everybody loves aliens." This flavor takes out the relationship hit that sims get when discovering an alien sim or seeing them out of disguise.

Some flavors of the mod, however do not work due to EA breaking the GTW aliens in what I can guess were previous attempts to fix the bugs of the moodlets sims get and aliens (the recent fix was to just an update to the moodlet description and not all the other issues https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Repor...t/td-p/6408067). One of the flavors actually returns the embarrassed moodlet to the alien when they are discovered, which in the current build seems to have disappeared. I forget which flavor that is, though.
