The current patch broke it. It breaks the GUI and prevents any sim from showing up when you boot the game in live mode.

guys how do i recover my save file after applying this mod? i am really desperate and i really do not want to play this 40 hour game play again

and no i didnt make a copy because i really did NOT think an aging mod would literally delete all my sims from a save file =) =)


edit1: oki i guess the sims 4 has some kind of autosave WHICH I AM REALLY GRATEFUL FOR, so to revive your corrupted save file, just go to your documents the sims 4 folder and look for 'saves' folder and easily replace your corrupted save with one of your autosaved saves.

edit2: whatever i reported this post and got ignored with a system message implying that i made it up
