Make sure that your game is fully up to date, also if you have unlocked the objects through the quests, try removing those. Oh, you may have CC that touches some of the items, try removing the files with override in their name.

I finally had some time to test your mod. I also grabbed your Day of The Dead Items unlocker on your Sims4Studio page and both work perfectly! Honoring the dead works, my sim transformed correctly. I haven't tested growing the tree as it's too long but all the items appear in the correct category, ditto for the easter eggs and the Bun Bun bear. My sim family now has an easter egg in the kitchen and the kids got the huge rabbitbear lol all thanks to you! So happy <3 Thank you
I'm also very grateful for the planters unlockers because the deluxe one is my favorite and use it everywhere, it'll feel less cheaty to have a legit version than diving into the buydebug constantly haha

Since I've updated to Pets all of the items have become locked again. This is the same with the sugar skulls and shelf. I had missed the plant sims challenge so I really appreciate the items and the work you did.

Since the Nov 15 patch after the Pets release everything seems to be working again. Thank you again for unlocking these
