That's odd...it clearly can't be from the file itself.You could start a thread on the forum and ask there,maybe someone can help you.You also have the option to use Clean Installer,it can be found here on Mod The Sims.I hope this comment was helpful.

No it's just the system at MTS - it can't differentiate between the types of files and labels everything Sim3Pack if it's that type.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
