The performance doesn't budge for me, or is it supposed to be slower performance rate up and down than most careers? I had it slightly below average and I worked hard all day and couldn't tell if it moved or not.

umm i'm not sure what you mean by activate but you do need this mod called NRaas Careers in order for most (if not all) custom careers to work - http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Careers
