I proudly present my continuation of Frugal Lane...
4 Frugal Lane - B

While building this home, I had a bit of a decorating/color theme dilemma which led to 4 Frugal Lane (C) being created as well (with a different color scheme, but the same shape and roommate feel of the home), so please do keep an eye out for that too in the very near future.

You can find 4 Frugal Lane - A >>> HERE

Sticking to my self-imposed budget of 20k for Frugal Lane homes, this is a home that would do well in a warm, tropical setting with its lighter, brighter interior and koi pond in the front yard. Perfect for siblings or friends, the bedrooms and bathrooms lend equal space to whomever stays here. I would imagine this home to be for those who prefer gaming, nature and would fancy having a puppy/dog around to build memories with. You will find the kitchen a bit sparce, as I built this with pleasure/fun seeking inhabitants in mind - those who would just order pizza and have microwave meals and sandwiches, rather than actually cook.

This may also be a nice college town home, as each bedroom has a private bookcase and desk for concentrating on studies. All it would take is to easily switch out the bedroom doors for Myne doors. There are lots of fun things to do to get the Fun meter back up after an intense cram session and even a coffee pot to fuel those all-night homework marathons! The choice, as always, is yours! I hope you find an exciting story to tell with this home.

This home has:
  • 2 bedrooms.
  • 2 bathrooms with showers.
  • Space for a puppy/dog (or cat if you switch things around).
  • Fire alarm, burglar alarm, and phone.
  • An assortment of fun objects - dartboard, Don't Wake the Llama table game and a TV.
  • Space planned for a future driveway to be installed.
  • Minimal landscaping to keep the cost inside rather than outside!

No CC was used, but all EPs/SPs are installed.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Beautiful! (But I think I'll work with my download of the first one) Frugality has never been so attractive!

I'm thinking that adding one wall and two apartment doors would make a really cute mini-duplex too. Thanks!

@pamreg - That is not a bad idea at all. I would probably make the bedrooms the "apartment space" and have the rest be common area just to keep rent super cheap! Thank you for the idea!

Squeee!!! (B) is up! I love the roof - very clever using a stage on top. You have so many great building ideas; your colors and materials are always very pleasant. L.O.V.E it!

@SimFused - Thank you for saying such nice things! It's fun to try and combine Maxis stuff in a new way.
@HeartDeco - Haha, yeah I know, I certainly slacked on uploading for a while - I have a nice backlog of homes and am trying not to overwhelm the section with them. Thanks for the enthusiasm!
