This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
Hello Everyone!

The Greatest Craftsman Rounded Single Door Recolours - Seasons Required

Some more recolours for your decorating and building enjoyment!

This door is one of my favourites in the entire game, but the colours were BORING.
Maxis doors tend to blend into the buildings, instead of popping.

One thing you learn on the design shows on TV is that the door is the focal point of your home.
It's important to have it stand out and say, "Hey, come on in!"

You'll get 3 frame colour designs: black, white, and brown. The slats between the
window panes now match the frames, as well as some panel borders.

Each frame comes with 13 new colours of doors and side panels to really bring attention to your lots.

That's a total of 39 new colours!

Find them in Build Mode/Doors at a cost of 50 Simoleons, which is the same as the original price.

I hope you and your Sims love these doors!

This is awesome! I've been waiting for someone to do this for all the doors/windows from this pack! But hey, I can live with these...for now! LOL!

I wasn't trying to be subtle or obvious! I'd have done this myself already, if I had the proper knowledge and whatnot. But hey, if ya wanna take it as any kinda hint, go for it!

However, I'm not sure why they keep reverting to one of the original swatches, if they camera's not panned over to 'em just right... I'll have to grab a video the next time I bother running TS4...it's been such a bitch on my laptop lately that I redeemed my codes for Medieval, and I'd rather play that...

Haha! I did take it as a hint, but I got the other door done more quickly than I had first planned because of it
I do hope you can get that running more smoothly. In the meantime have fun playing Medieval! I haven't played that in ages. I recently started a game of Castaways and I'm having fun with the nostalgia.

Wow, I can't believe it's been over a month, and I'm just now realizing you responded again! LOL! Never managed to grab that video, unfortunately...that lot was driving me so crazy with the damn near totally frozen till I paused it camera behavior that I didn't bother running TS4 from 10 Oct. to yesterday. I'm serious—that was the date that was on my last LE when I cleared it, LTC, etc. so I could even try running TS4 again after this month's insane update.

However, now I'm kinda entertaining the notion that it wasn't necessarily these doors being screwy... I figured out after starting a new save file that something about the fog emitters I downloaded as per Revy just doesn't like my game/hardware...it started lagging like Hell in an unpaused live mode with 'em on my lot, but the second I deleted 'em from said lot, it started running fine again. The save file where your doors were acting up had soooo many of those fog emitters on the lot, it's not even funny, so it kinda makes me wonder if the sheer amount of those and all the lagging it was causing had something to do with it. I'm honestly half-terrified to even try opening that save file up again after I get some sleep since I'm running for nearly 20 hours on about 5 of sleep... We'll see what happens after the novelty of finally getting Vamps wears off and I get bored with the new save file, which was mainly for that... LOL!

@SkyBanshee I'm glad it wasn't the doors!

I recommend you have a look at using this Mod Conflict Detector. I use it all the time, especially after updates. One of the most useful programs ever made, imho.

And congrats on getting Vampires!

Well, I'm pretty sure it wasn't the doors, anyway...I haven't used 'em since starting this new save—been too addicted to the "new" Vampires stuff, which I'd spend the next three weeks recoloring, if I knew how and had the right stuff, LOL!—but I doubt doors would make a game lag the way mine was. Now something intense on graphics like a ton of fog emitters on a 64x64 lot to make it look like the creepy Witch at the End of the Cul-de-Sac kinda house built in a more Colonial style...that I could totally see making Live Mode lag to the point thatcha have to pause it to pan your camera from one room in one end of the house to another at the opposite end, or when changing from first to second story.

I've got Scumbumbo's Mod Conflict Detector, and it generally works pretty well. Most of what it catches, though, aren't things that actually conflict—or at least, they don't seem to give me any problems. Mostly silly stuff, like having the Custom Food/Drinks Interactions from Icemunmun AND the Cooking Overhaul from Graycurse, or saying that a bunch of separated recolors of BG/pack hair accessories supposedly conflict with each other or something else. Again, I've never had a problem outta any of that, conflict-wise, so I just ignore it. *shrugs*

And much grass! So far, I'm having more fun building and decorating than actually playing with the Vamps in Live Mode! LOL! Guess that's 'cuz of my gothic tastes, and the fact that I'm on such a Victorian kick when it comes to my builds, I actually looked up Victorian floor plans for this latest build...which I'm apparently about to have to edit to ditch the pool, no thanks to all these bugs the devs "unknowingly" patch in every time they force us to update the game...
