These are lovely! I certainly missed these in my game! Though I was wondering if the gaps shown in 2 of the pictures where the counters are connected is the actual way how they'd look in game, or are they just loose parts or do they really just act like counters?

They really act like counters. This was just a way to show the user the different variants of the counter.
