Oh, Liz, thank you so very much. It's been so hard to find house sets like this for download, where each expands on the previous one rather than being a totally different house, or just an unfurnished or no-cc version of the decor. I don't want you or any other creator to get me wrong----bundles of houses around a theme and unfurnished/no-cc options for the same house are always of interest. But this upload of yours now makes it possible for me to implement a long back-burnered simming goal.

Like many here, I usually just remodel households' homes myself as they need it, or find them new homes altogether as they grow. But ever since I came across Klaartje's house set (for which she credits and links Karen Lorraine for the concept and the very first such house series), I've wanted to try out this idea for my game, where a sim household only "remodels" by being moved out and then moved into a new lot, which is just like the previous one but improved. (Side bonus: I'd think it would be nice to periodically force a clean-out of whatever crud a lot may have accumulated, too, devoted Batbox user though I am, since otherwise some of my sims do often stay in their homes for a long time.)

Originally, I had hoped to only use series that involved no or almost-no cc, but I guess a nice thing about having a Sims 2 idea on the back burner for years is that, well, by now, I've already acquired many of the bits that Karen Lorraine used. So there we have it---three different house series I can place!

The timing is meant-to-be perfect as well, not just in my game (bumper crop of YAs getting ready to graduate; they may have to cram into the starters at first to afford them, but that's what my income-restricted hood is all about!) but in my real life, where I'm a long weekend away from getting back to my game for the summer (YIIIPPEEE!). And all three of you home designers even chose to use red, black, and white color schemes! So the downtown (Belladonna Cove, thanks to Tarlia) side street I'll newly be populating will even get to look coordinated, no matter which stage each house is in currently.

So thanks again, Liz, for these but also for your lovely sense of aesthetics, for all your beautiful recolor sets, and especially for your completionist tendencies, heh. And by the way, in this house series, I especially appreciate that you've made small but beautifying changes to the windows at each step up. Another nice touch among so many.
