I've had this mod installed since it was first posted here and it has never failed me.

However, I did run into a rare edge case scenario where I had saved and exited the game during a holiday, then reloaded the household just before the holiday ended. This caused one of the sims in that household to break, i.e. it threw a LUIE and that sim's UI became messed up (the action bar vanished, the portrait would not highlight when selected and other moodlets overlapped each other). Even stranger was the fact that this particular sim should not even have received the moodlet in the first place, since he partially fulfilled the holiday traditions. Reloading into the zone did not solve the issue either. I finally fixed it by using MCCC and manually locating and deleting the Awful Holiday buff, which had indeed been applied, but was stuck and hidden. This action instantly repaired that sim's UI as well.

Now, I'm not writing this to say that this mod is broken in any way or that it needs to be fixed. I honestly don't think such rare edge cases can be taken into account anyways. I'm only mentioning this here in case someone else comes across a similar issue and needs a way to resolve it that doesn't involve a save file revert.

I came across the exact same issue. I had no idea what caused it until I did the 50/50 method of weeding out problematic mods, then when I found it was this one I jumped back onto this thread and saw DragonCT's post. (Also, thanks DragonCT for mentioning how you fixed it - I'll be trying the same thing!)

I really do find this mod necessary, because I don't always want to participate in holiday traditions, but there does seem to be something that triggers this issue when the game is exited during a holiday. I'll keep on using the mod now that I know how to fix this issue if it comes up again, but it would be good if this could be fixed.

I think this mod has finally broken with 1.90 patch. Can anyone else confirm? All my household were devastated for not trick or treating...including my grandparents!
