I uploaded the wrong file the first time, please redownload

Have you present when you set your sims thermostat to warmer on a cold winter day, and they stop for a second to do a satisfied animation.... EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU GO IN AND OUT THE HOUSE?! They stop for a second at the door and do yet another annoying animation because they're happy.

Maybe it's just me, but since the first time I turned on that thing, I wanted the reaction to it out of my game.

This mod disable it completely, now they will walk past the door like normal people without stopping to contemplate the warmer or cooler temperature.

This mod alters the following resources and will conflict with every mod that does the same:

0C772E27!0000001A!000000000002E8CA.loot_Thermostat_GiveBuff_TestWeather.ActionTuning.xml

0C772E27!0000001A!000000000002E239.loot_Thermostat_GiveBuff_FreezingCold.ActionTuning.xml

I've never noticed this in my game, which means I don't need my sims to do it. I suppose a little added bonus is that this is one less pointless action that a sim can get trapped on when system lag hits the game.

Waaaait, is this the thing where you ask your sim to do a thing, and they pause to nod first? They're actually reacting to the thermostat?!?Q

Yeah... It took me a while to figure it out. It's the buff from the thermostat that calls that animation.

Thank you so much for this mod. I cannot tell you how far up the wall it drove me to see my Sims stop in their tracks the second they got under shelter to look up, giggle, and nod like buffoons to the change in temperature if it was hot or cold outside. I didn't even know the thermostat was causing this reaction until I decided to place a thermostat on a community lot 'cause all the Sims were complaining about the cold and not changing into their cold weather outfits since it was a party venue. As soon as I went into Live Mode, every Sim that entered the building played that dumb animation, and that's when I found out the thermostat caused the animation. My main household has a large lot with plenty of architectural design, and it always bothered me to see my Sims play this pointless animation to the change in temperature every. single. time. they entered under pretty much any structure that had a roof.

This is also part of my thermostatoutfittweak (S-24, https://www.deichschafblog.de/s4/mo...-jahreszeiten/), which lets Sims automatically swith to their everyday outfit when they come inside in their winterwear.
The two mods won't conflict though, as mine uses different ressources to achieve the same result.

I'm using your mod, I can confirm they don't conflict quite easily.

I got this because I figured it be in my best interest ( ), but how do I know it's working? I tested with and without it, but my Sim didn't react to the thermostat. This is with Temperature Reactions on and off.

EDIT: I do have LittleMsSam's Automatic Thermostat, Lowered Thermostat Costs on Bills, and Weather NPC Death Fix mods, though...I wonder if any of them are conflicting.

This is meant to remove the reaction to the Thermostat, you know thet it works because the sims are not going to get the +1 happy buff from the temperature. LMS Mods don't conflict, I use them too.

Okay, thanks! I'll give it another shot then.

EDIT: I haven't noticed any Buff or such while testing this, and visitors never reacted either than I know of, so I guess it works! Thanks!

sims constantly stopping to react to the thermostat does drive me nuts & i really want to put this in my game, but since i'm not a modder i don't know what mods affect those files in the description, so i don't know if it will conflict with any of my other mods... the only 1 i think it might conflict with is meaningful stories, which makes sims' moods more realistic, anyone know if they do conflict?

pretty sure this is no longer working with the latest patch, at least not in my game, unless there's something else it's conflicting with, just a heads up (the only thing i've added recently is the newly updated slice of life mod)

You're telling me Sims had Mr. Krabs level reactions to the thermostat?
