I think the advanced version of this mod makes the gameplay too difficult/creates problem. I played a Sim family in a house that has a hot tub outside. The season in the game was winter. I invited a bunch of Sims from other playable lots in the neighborhood. After they came and greeted, some of the visitors soaked in the hot tub, some chatted near the hot tub outside. Then they went inside to eat, use the toilet, watch TV. Some went back outside to use the hot tub again. Hours later, some of the visitor's temperature visibly dropped (their skin turned blue, they rubbed their hands). And then some visitors displayed symptoms of disease (sneezing, coughing fit). They continued socializing so the disease kept spreading between the visitors. Even my currently played Sim caught cold from the visitors. In the end, I have a lot of sick Sims in many households in the neighborhood. Based on this experience, if you have this mod installed and you invite many of Sims during the winter, then there will be epidemic disease in your neighborhood. So I recommend the regular version instead of the advanced version.

Bit of a long shot since last post is old and nobody replied but hoping someone can help. I have the correct version of the mod but fires are never autonomously lit. Anyone else have this problem?

The graduation outfit (from the university graduation party) should also be included in the Weather Outfit Mod so they will not switch into outerwear during said party.

I also noticed that when sims are indoors and react to the weather they can't tell if the window is facing outside or another room inside the building.
Sims who are outdoors display the animation corresponding to view through window.

update
I deleted my last post; I think I initially installed the mod wrong. After trying out the advanced version I have to say I love this mod--it really forces you to install ceiling fans and radiators and gives the Seasons expansion more depth. Simlers mods makes my game so enjoyable!

So I just wanted to say that I *love* the effects of this mod. I have the Special Version and without radiators my Sims are constantly getting colds in winter. (I have your Disease Mod too so these very quickly develop into pneumonia if I'm not careful!) I think I also just encountered the 1 in 20,000 chance of spontaneous combustion as well? Ajay Loner was watching TV in Summer (in a house with no ceiling fans) and was hot, but not very hot. Suddenly, out of nowhere, fire everywhere! Thankfully the living room was open plan with the kitchen so the fire alarm went off and the firefighters saved his life, but I was utterly bewildered as to what had happened until I remembered this mod. Thank you for the chaos!

Less than two weeks later and I've encountered the spontaneous combustion again. This Sim didn't even show any of the animations of being hot (fanning themselves with their hand etc.) before bursting into flames. They definitely weren't overheating. Are we sure the odds are as low as you're claiming, Simler? I like having chaos but I don't want all my Sims dying in fires just because they don't have ceiling fans! This is the first of your mods where I'm considering taking it out because it doesn't seem to be very extensively tested and I'm wondering if the negatives outweigh the positives.

happening_holly, if you don't like sims bursting into flames without getting overheated you may want to use advanced version instead of special, i guess.

Hey Simler90, I noticed today that the Weather Outfit Mod is conflicting with RomanticStandards, when using both it generates a bug where only one Sim (which was sent to perform the "Watch" action) can watch TV at a time, so other Sims, the option to "Join" disappears, leaving only "Turn Off" and "Exercise", which makes the Sims automatically turn off the TV, making it impossible for them to watch it together with other Sims and even more glitching the active Sim action.

Default Toddler stays in the max temperature, and extreme temperatures inside
Like the title states, my toddlers stay in the max temperature in summer, and doesnt cool down even if the weather outside does. Im using the advanced version. It also seems like the mod pushes to get the sim to twice the temperature outside. I dont know if its how its supposed to be, cause I cant find a proper explanation anywhere on the outside temperature vs the internal temperature and how theyre connected.

I checked the temperatures with batbox, and only in summertime. But im finding it a bit extreme to be honest. Much higher sim temperature than the weather? Is this how its supposed to be? If it is, could you please provide instructions on how to mod it so that it doesnt push the temperature up and down as much as it does when the sim is inside? I tried to look at the BCONs, but I couldnt find anything there. Dont know anything about BHAVs, but I tried to compare at all the versions (normal, advanced, special) to see if I could get a clue. I didnt though, so that why im asking for help.

Anyways, its a great mod and I use almost all of your mods as they add so much "missing" stuff. Thank you for all of you amazing work.

is the auto light fire aspect of this mod compatible with sun and moon's All Fired Up mod? i ask because it's a global mod that affects all fires in the game, so i can see it potentially conflicting.

@Simler90 Idea: The open AL Gear City window could also decrease temperatures like the ceiling fan!
