Important Install Info:
There is a script component to this mod. The .ts4script file MUST be placed directly in your mods folder, or at most 1 subfolder deep.

Download the REQUIRED script mod and extract the .ts4script file directly into your mods folder. Then download whichever menus you want for your game.

Vampires game pack required for the (Vampires) menu.
Realm of Magic game pack required for the (Witch) menu.

Should work with modded servo hybrids now. Please report any issues.
Update: 2020-7-30: Completely remade the mod, adding the following new features.
  • Performance improvements.
  • The perk cost and your sim's available perk points will be visible on every option.
  • Unavailable perks will be visible in the interaction, but will be disabled.
  • The interaction will now remain available even if you cannot afford any more perks.
  • Added a witch version of the mod. For compatibility with new occults EA might add in future packs.

This mod adds two new options in the "Vampire" pie menu category which allows vampire hybrids, such as vampire-spellcasters, to spend their perk points.

The menus will display ALL perks you can afford, regardless of your vampire's rank. This allows you to get perks such as vampire creation early. Perks that conflict with any you have won't be shown (e.g. Sun Resistance won't show if you have Thin Skinned). Each option will only be displayed if you have enough points to buy something from that category, so the weakness menu won't appear until you get your first weakness point.

This mod serves as a (sort of) fix to the issue of vampire-spellcaster and vampire-mermaid hybrids being unable to spend their perk points, at least until someone figures out how to open up the perk menu directly or until EA listens to our complaints and fixes it.

Because vampire hybrids are not "officially" supported by the game, be aware that you may still encounter issues while playing them.

Vampire-Spellcasters seem to be stable apart from the issue that this mod addresses.

If you plan on making a vampire-spellcaster hybrid, I suggest you customize or remove your dark form BEFORE adding the spellcaster life state.
If you plan on making a vampire-mermaid hybrid, make yourself a pure mermaid first to customize your tail, save your game before making yourself a hybrid, and check your sim when you exit CAS for issues with their forms.

If the menus aren't showing up, you didn't put the script file directly in the mods folder

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Sims 4

This is a multi-part download:

Extract the core script zip file directly to your mods folder.

Download the (Vampire) version to add the vampire menu.
The (Witch) version adds the witch menu.

I made this and have been updating it and have been updating it over time. It enables Hybrids through regular gameplay and allows you to lock off alternate forms (alien/vampire hybrids can corrupt your Sim if you switch enough times, so it's best to lock off Vampire or Alien form). I also made a mod that allows robots to be Hybrids. Iced Cream has made a lot of great mods that smooth out the rough edges that I wasn't able to solve.

Cool! But... what if I don't want to get perks and weaknesses early, and I have a really bad memory so I can't remember which rank is which? Is it at all possible to make a version with the same restrictions as normal?
Apart from that, thanks for being part of the hybrid stabilizing community!

Could you do this for all sims? The ability to buy vamp perks without being a vamp? Also, thank you for this!

Wow! I'd love to have this mod if I could get a confirmation that this mod will work with Zero's Vampire Magic Mod .

The problem I encountered using her mod is that my Sim was already a Vampire before she was turned into a Warlock. The Spellcaster UI isn't available for the Warlock to spend points in, nor is the spellbook accessible to see what spells and potions have been learned.

I'd be happy to test this mod for conflicts and gameplay issues further with Zero's Vampire Magic Mod and Linkster123's Vampire Points Mod . The latter modifies the Vampire perks system.

I thought to give a heads up if anyone is using Zero's Vampire Magic Mod or Linkster123's Vampire Points Mod, they will want to make sure they work before they comment here.

That mod's approach to vampire-spellcasters is through a custom trait given to the vampire which allows access to her custom implementations of the spell interactions. They are treated by the game as "pure" vampires, which avoids most if not all of the issues with hybrids, such as being unable to edit dark form in CAS or needing mods to fix the motive bar or buy vampire perks. The custom trait was specifically designed to conflict with the EA Spellcaster trait since a vampire-caster with her custom trait and the standard spellcaster trait would have 2 sets of every spell interaction and would still be unable to buy vampire perks without mods.

If you want a true hybrid without having to uninstall her mod, you can use debug cheats to remove her custom trait and then add in the standard spellcaster traits to make a true hybrid. Of course you would need this mod and my motive sort override mod to fix some of EA's issues with hybrids.

As for the Vampire Points Mod, there shouldn't be any conflicts since my mod doesn't alter any game files, and my mod doesn't really "force" you to spend weakness points before spending perk points.

I didn't notice any issues.
This mod should be safe from most updates since the two interactions are custom-made.

This mod is great! Do you think if you can replicate this for spellcasters? Servo-Spellcasters cannot access the perks menu based on the experimentation that I did.

Thank you for giving our poor hybrid Spellcasters a chance to choose their perks!! I am going to assume at this point it wouldn't matter if the Sim became a Vampire first or Spellcaster first? Because both are now pie menu options?
